Kinumpirma ni PSG Commander Colonel Jesus Durante III na na 160 na miyembro ng Presidential Security Group (PSG) ang nag-positibo sa COVID-19 sa isinagawang rapid test.
Pero nilinaw ni Col. Durante na isang PSG member lamang ang positibo sa COVID-19 sa pamamagitan ng polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
Kasabay nito, tiniyak ni Col. Durante na protektado si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte mula sa COVID-19 at walang exposure sa PSG member na positibo sa virus.
“A total of 160 [PSG members] were quarantined but were mostly released after 14 days of no symptoms and tested negative with RDT [rapid diagnostic test] and PCR tests,” ani Col. Durante.
Si Pangulong Duterte ay umuwi ng Davao City nitong weekend matapos mapasama ang lungsod sa mga inilagay na sa general community quarantine (GCQ) habang nasa modified enhanced community quarantine ang Metro Manila.
Nakatakdang makipagpulong sa Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) si Pangulong Duterte ngayong araw.
