CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – National Bureau of Investigation (NBI-10) and City Social Welfare Development (CSWD) filed cases against two Chinese nationals for alleged trafficking of 10 women including seven minors.
NBI regional director Atty. Patricio Bernales identified the suspects as Shen Quiang, 26, and Li Qi, 27.
According to Bernales, suspects were charged with qualified human trafficking and child abuse cases and now awaiting fiscal’s resolution.
Last March 31, both agencies arrested the two Chinese for alleged engaging illegal activities inside Marco Hotel in Barangay Cugman, Cagayan De Oro.
