A private helicopter crashed in a fishpond in Brgy. Anilao, Malolos Bulacan. PRC dispatched an ambulance and a medical team and coordinated with local authorities.

Nag-iwan nang tatlong katao ang patay kasama ang isang kilalang negosyante ang pagbagsak ng isang helicopter sa fishpond sa Barangay Anilao, Malolos City, Bulacan, kaninang alas-12:50 ng tanghali.

Ayon kay Bulacan police provincial director Col. Chito Bersaluna, nakatanggap sila ng tawag kaugnay sa insidente.

Kaagad namang rumesponde ang Malolos police at Philippines Red Cross sa lugar at dito nabatid na dalawang lalaki ang nasawi at isa ang isinugod sa hospital.

Pero kalaunan ay pumanaw na rin.

Kabilang sa nasawi ay ang may-ari rin ng helicopter at kilalang negosyante sa Pampanga na si Liberato “Levy” P. Laus, 65.

Sinasabing ang kompaniya nito ang isa sa pinakamalaking multi-brand dealership sa bansa na may mahigit sa 45 mga dealerships sa Metro Manila, central at Northern Luzon.

Liban kay Laus, kasama rin sa nasawi ay ang piloto ng chopper.

Ayon pa kay Bersaluna, ang bumagsak na helicopter sa palaisdaan ay may body number RP C8098 at ito ay totally damaged.

Sa ngayon ay pumasok na rin ang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) para magsagawa ng imbestigasyon.

Sinasabing nanggaling daw ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport ang chopper at patungo sana ng San Fernando, Pampanga nang ito ay bumagsak.
