Emosyunal ang blind at autistic young singer matapos mabigyan ng “Golden Buzzer” sa America’s Got Talent (AGT) Season 14.

Una rito, binigyan ng standing ovation ng mga judge at audience ang 22-year-old contestant na si Kodi Lee para sa rendisyon sa awiting “A Song For You” ni Donny Hathaway.

Nabatid na kasama ni Kodi sa stage ang kanyang ina na siyang nagpaliwanag ng kondisyon nito sa mga hurado.

“Kodi is blind and autistic. We found out that he loved music really early on. He listened and his eyes just went huge. And he started singing, and that’s when I was in tears, because that’s when I realized: Oh my gosh! He is an entertainer,” saad ng ina na si Tina.

“Through music and performing, he was able to withstand living in this world, because when you’re autistic, it’s really hard to do what everybody else does. It has actually saved his life, playing music,” dagdag nito.

Matapos nito ay nagkaroon ng maiksing pag-uusap ang mag-ina bago ang inspiring performance ni Kodi.

Howie Mandel:
“First of all I will tell you that all four judges and everybody in this room were up on their feet. You were wonderful. Not only do we feel the authenticity of what you do but you’re a great inspiration and a great talent and it was amazing.”

Julianne Hough:
“I know everybody needs a voice and an expression and I really feel your heart, your passion. Your voice blew all of us away.”

“Tonight, I’m going to give you something special,” saad ng bagong judge na si Gabrielle Union kasabay ng pagpindot sa Golden Buzzer.

Nangangahulugan ang golden buzzer na nakausad na agad sa finale ang nasabing may kapansanang pianist/singer at hindi na dadaan pa sa mga elimination rounds.
