“It’s a great area, but right now, everything is devastated. It’s really messy. A lot of houses were ruined. Last night, I got off at work at 11pm. It was still fine. There was nothing happening at all. And then, at 12:30, when I arrived home, there was already an amber alert, and the sirens were already making noise in the streets. It was raining. There were thunderstorms, and the lights, even in my apartment were already flickering so it was really scary, because the amber alert says to take shelter now. What am I gonna do? Am I gonna go somewhere to take shelter or what? It’s really horrible. It’s literally breaking my heart. This city is really beautiful and it is really great, knowing what happened, it’s just heartbreaking.”
“Even the community are really doing all the measures that they can do to help everyone. They are really here for everyone. Some of them are also offering their houses for the people who were affected so they can live there, or spend some days there.”
