Kinumpirma ng Philippine Consulate General sa Hong Kong na isang 29-anyos na babaeng Pinay ang nag-positibo sa novel coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19).
Ito na ang ikalawang kaso ng nasabing sakit sa mga Pinoy sa nasabing rehiyon.
Natanggap daw ng opisina ng Consulate General ang impormasyon mula sa Hong Kong Health Department.
“The Hong Kong Health Department officially informed the Consulate General this morning that a 29 year old Filipina has tested positive for COVID-19,” ayon sa statement ng tanggapan.
“She is in good spirits and said she no longer has fever. She added that she is well taken care of but hospital visits are not allowed given that she is in isolation.”
“She requested for some personal items which the Consulate will immediately bring to her today. She also asked that we keep her identity secret,” dagdag pa ng konsulado.
Batay sa ulat, Centre for Health Protection ng Hong Kong Health Department, nagta-trabaho bilang household worker ang Pinay na nag-positibo.
Una na raw nag-positibo sa sakit ang amo nito, na kinilala bilang ika-85 kaso ng COVID-19 sa rehiyon.
