Sinibak sa pwesto ang apat na chief of police sa CALABARZON area dahil sa hindi ito nakapag-perform ng maayos sa kanilang trabaho lalo na sa pagpapatigil ng anti-illegal numbers game sa kani kanilang mga areas of responsibility.
Ayon kay P/Supt. Chitadel Carandang Gaoiran, tagapagsalita Police Regional Office 4-CALABARZON na mula sa Batangas PPO, ni-relieve epektibo noong August 11, 2017Â si P/Supt. Carlos Barde, hepe ng Lipa City at P/Supt. Geovanny Emerick Sibalo ng Sto. Tomas Municipal Police Station.
Habang sa Laguna Police Provincial Office, dalawang chief of police ang ni-relieve at ito ay sina: P/Supt. Ronan Claravall ng San Pablo City Police Station at P/Supt. Zeric Soriano, chief of police ng San Pedro Municipal Police Station.
Sinabi ni Gaoiran na ang pagkakasibak sa apat na chief of police ay bahagi sa pronouncement ni PNP chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa na sibakin sa pwesto ang mga chief of police na hindi kayang patigilin ang iligal na sugal sa kanilang mga AOR.
Una nang nagdeklara ng giyera kontra illegal gambling si PNP PRO4A regional director C/Supt. Mao Aplasca at ipinag-utos nito na gawin ang lahat para matigil ang iligal na sugal.
“The day I have assumed the position as CALABARZON’s Regional Director, I have been very vocal on my desire to eradicate illegal number games in the region. Prior to the directive of the Chief PNP, we have started this campaign and we are progressively gaining positive results. But despite of the reminders, unfortunately there are still COPs who fell short of the directive,†mensahe pa ni Aplasca.
Sa kabilang dako, ang apat na na sinibak na chief of police ay kasalukuyang naka-assign sa Provincial Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (PPHAU) sa kanilang mga respective Police Provincial Offices at isasailalim administrative proceedings ang mga ito.
