Binati ng pamunuan ng Philippine Army ang nasa 51 newly-promoted generals ngayong araw, December 8, 2017.
Ayon kay Army Spokesperson Lt. Col. Ray Tiongson, tatlong Lieutenant Generals ang promoted, seven Major Generals, at 41 Brigadier Generals ang binigyan ng full military honors at kaagad na nag-courtesy call kay Army chief Lt. Gen. Rolando Joselito Bautista.
Kabilang si Bautista sa na promote bilang 3 star generals, kasama sina: Lt. Gen. Carlito G. Galvez, Rafael C. Valencia at Benjamin Madrigal.
Habang ang pitong officers na promoted sa ranggong Major General ay sina: MGen Ronnie Evangelista, Felimon Santos Jr, Arnel Dela Vega, Casiano Monilla, Isidro Purisima, Macairog Alberto, at Rizaldo Limoso.
Nasa 41 officers naman ang promoted sa ranggong Brigadier General ito ay sina: Brig. Gen. Perfecto M. Rimando, Cirilito E. Sobejana, Pedro A. Sumayo Jr, Glorivine R. Dida, Fernando T. Trinidad, Francisco F. Mendoza, Felicisimo C. Buddiongan, Ramiro Manuel A. Rey, Arnulfo C. Matanguihan, Lope C Dagoy, Nixon M. Fortes, Milfredo M. Melegrito, Jose C. Faustino Jr, Manolo M. Samarita, Raniel T. Tamiro, Ernesto T. Lopena, Lenard T. Agustin, Antonio G. Parlade Jr, Cristobal N. Zaragoza, Rene Glen O. Paje, Edwin Leo Torrelavega, Abraham Claro C. Casis, Eric C.
