KORONADAL CITY – The local government of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato is closely monitoring almost 600 sinkholes found in Barangay Ned.
In an interview of Bombo Radyo Koronadal with Lake Sebu, South Cotabato Mayor Floro Gandam he said they are examining the affected areas where sinkholes were found after a series of earthquakes it experienced.
He added that tension cracks were also found in Sitio Tuburan and Sitio Pulo Subong that caused road damages.
They are also considering road closure and rerouting of vehicles to avoid further accidents due to damaged highways.
A magnitude 3.5 earthquake rocked the region of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato on Sunday, November 17.
