Nabatid na sa simula pa lamang ng prestihiyosong seremonya, early winner na rin ang Fil-Am na si Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson o mas kilala sa stage name na HER (Having Everything Revealed) na ginawaran ng Best Traditional R&B Performance.

At habang papalapit sa major category, hindi nagpahuli ang isa pang may lahing Pinoy na si Olivia Rodrigo kung saan nasungkit na nito ang pagiging Best New Artist, at Best Pop Solo Performance para sa hit song na “drivers license.”

Kabilang pa sa mga Grammy winners ngayong taon ay si Kanye West bilang Best Melodic Rap Performance, at si Jon Batiste bilang Best Music Video sa kanyang “Freedom” hit at Album of the Year ang kanyang “We Are” album.
