Iniulat ngayon ng Department of Health (DOH) na nakapagtala sila ng 7,835 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.
Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 5,317 na gumaling at 154 na pumanaw.
Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 3.1% (84,850) ang aktibong kaso, 95.4% (2,573,161) na ang gumaling, at 1.49% (40,221) ang namatay.
Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong October 12, 2021 habang mayroong apat laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 4 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 1.3% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 1.2% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.
“58 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 42 are recoveries and 2 are deaths. Moreover, 89 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation,” bahagi pa ng advisory ng DOH. “All labs were operational on October 12, 2021 while 4 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the 4 non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 1.3% of samples tested and 1.2% of positive individuals.”
