After a humiliating defeat of Anthony Joshua from Daniel Dubois last September 21, 2024 in the UK, Bob Arum insulted AJ while Eddie Hearns defended the two-time former unified heavyweight champion.

Dubois devastated AJ at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom in the fifth round KO. He defended his IBF belt that shattered AJ’s dream of unification,

“You don’t have an off night getting the s**t kicked out of you that way … I just think AJ has been through a lot of wars, and I think it’s over for him as well as over for [Deontay] Wilder. Maybe they can fight each other; that’d be good.” Arum blurted AJ is finished..

On the otherhand, Joshua’s promoter Hearn, said, “between maybe one and three fights left.” Hearns comforted AJ by assuming that he has one to three fights remaining.

Ironically, Dubois is a plus-350 underdog while Joshua was a minus-425 favorite before the fight.

As of this writing, it is unclear if AJ will rematch with Wilder, Dubois, or Fury.
