Nilinaw ngayon ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na wala silang namomonitor na banta mula sa ilang grupo na nagbabalak maglunsad ng destabilisasyon laban sa Duterte administration na makakaapekto sa pangkalahatang seguridad sa National Capital Region (NCR).
Aminado si AFP spokesperson BGen Restituto Padilla na bagamat may natatanggap silang mga unverified reports ukol sa mga planong destablization plot para pabagsakin ang liderato, kredibilidad at administrasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte mula sa ibat ibang political factions at ilang mga indibidwal.
“The AFP has not monitored any threat that has command of sizable forces that could undermine this administration nor affect the overall security of the NCR. There is, however, unverified information of existing plots to undermine the leadership, credibility and administration of PRRD from yet undetermined political factions and certain individuals,” pahayag ni Padilla.
