TACLOBAN CITY – A drug suspect tagged as a “big time drug dealer†by the police, was killed in a buy-bust operation in a village of San Policarpo, Calbayog City, Samar .
Police identified the suspect as Menard De Leon, 33 years old, married and resident of the said place.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspect noticed he was dealing with a policeman, prompting him to pull his gun.
De Leon was immediately sent to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Recovered from his possession were a 45 caliber pistol and a black clutch containing packs of shabu worth P60,000.
