CAUAYAN CITY – The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) national chapter said they are anticipating faster progress of the Philippines justice system under the supervision of newly appointed Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta.

Atty. Domingo “Egon” Cayosa, national president of IBP, expressed hopefulness that there will be progress on the Ampatuan massacre that took place 10 years ago and justice is still not served to the victims and their families.

Cayosa said generosity of Filipinos is one of the reasons why cases in the country has slower progression compared to other countries.

IBP is currently campaigning for “Justice Bilis at hindi Justice Tiis.”

He also noted that most Filipinos do not trust the justice system.
