Ukrainian Heavyweight champ Oleksandr Usyk is set to end Tyson Fury’s reign on February 14, 2024, in Saudi Arabia for an undisputed world title fight.
Fury and Usyk will unify World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight world titles.
It can be recalled that former two-time unified WBO, IBF, and WBA heavyweight champion. Anthony Joshua already fought Usyk twice and Fury once. Unfortunately, he is defeated the mega fights last 2021 and 2022,
When asked about who will win, AJ told TNT Sports that he does not know but he goes with Usyk.
AJ revealed that Fury talks too much and shows no respect while Usyk gives honor to someone who deserves it.
“I’ve been in there with Usyk twice, I’ve shared the ring with him 24 rounds, a really talented fighter. So for some people, obviously, it’s a loss on a record, but for me, I took it as a learning CV. So I’ve learned from it, and I’ll come back stronger.” Joshua said to TNT Sports.
The Olympic medalist Usyk is often described as heavyweight Manny Pacquaio by fans due to his footwork and relentless punches.
Moreover, former UFC champion Francis Ngannou damaged Fury heavily in a controversial crossover fight that moved the Usyk vs Fury fight next year.
AJ believed that Fury lost the fight in fans’ perspective as the split decision win is decided by judges and referee.
