Another strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 hit Turkey and Syria, killing at least 3 people.

200 people were also injured in the said incident.

This was so far one of the strongest aftershocks recorded after the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in the said countries.

European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said in a report that the center of this quake was in Turkey’s southernmost province of Hatay with a depth of 2km.

It is strongly felt in the nearby capital of Antakya and Adana.

Further, minutes after the said aftershock 5.8 magnitudes once again shook the region.

It can be remembered that last February 6, 2023 magnitude 7.8 and 7.6 earthquakes hit southeast Turkey and neighboring Syria, killing more than 47,000 people.
