Actress Bella Thorne decided to post her nude photos on Twitter as a move to fight back against her alleged hacker who gained access to her private photos.
The 21-year-old Thorne said that the hacker gained access to her social networking site through her smartphone and the FBI is currently doing an investigation regarding the issue.
“For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes. I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from me that I only wanted one special person to see,” the former Disney actress wrote alongside her topless photos. “For too long I let a man take advantage of me over and over and I’m fucking sick of it. I’m putting this out because it’s my decision. Now you don’t get to take yet another thing from me. I can sleep better knowing I took my power back. You can’t control my life, you never will.â€
Instead of celebrating her newly released book, Thorne has been crying for the whole day because of the person extorting her. She even stated that the hacker had the guts to share nude photos of other celebrities but Thorne did not disclose who these other private photos belong to.
“I can sleep tonight better knowing I took my power back,” Thorne wrote. “U can’t control my life u never will.”
Despite the threat, Thorne decided not to allow anyone to render her helpless.
In previous years, a number of female stars have had their nude photos hacked and leaked to the internet including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Aubrey Plaza.
