Tinawag ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na papansin ang viral post ng negosyanteng si Xian Gaza na nagdedetalye kung paano niya umano natakasan ang immigration inspection sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Ayon kay BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval, pinadadalhan sila ng korte ng mga arrest warrants at hold departure order (HDO) at nakasama ito sa kanilang derogatory database.
Sa kaso ng negosyante, wala naman umano itong derogatory record kaya nila pinayagang makalabas ng bansa.
Dumaan din umano sa tamang airport procedures ang paglabas ng bansa ni Gaza kayat “fake news” o wala raw katotohanan ang mga ipinakakalat nitong balita.
Maalalang sa naturang post, idinitalye ng negosyante ang kanyang biyahe patungong Singapore, Taiwan at Hong Kong.
“Since he had no derogatory record when he left, he was cleared for departure. It was quite uneventful and ordinary, really. No Hollywood-level storyline, just regular immigration clearance. His story sounds like it was taken straight out of an action movie. He said it so himself, his story is based on what happened, but sadly it’s not what actually happened. In his case there was none when he left. Stunts like this using the Bureau to gain fame and stay relevant are a security risk. He is making a mockery of our airport procedures for attention,†wika ni Sandoval.
Nakilala si Gaza nang imbitihan nito ng date ang aktres na si Erich Gonzales sa pamamagitan ng isang billboard.
Inaresto ito noong Abril ng 2018 dahil sa kasong paglabag sa Anti-Bouncing Checks Law.
Bagamat nakalaya ito dahil sa piyansa ay nahaharap si Gaza sa tatlong arrest warrant.
