US President Joe Biden emphasizes that his country is prepared to assist in enhancing Ukraine’s capabilities to defend against and thwart Russian aggression in the long run.

On Sunday, May 21, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden made a new $375 million military aid announcement to Ukraine and assured President Volodymyr Zelenskiy that Washington was doing everything in its power to improve Ukraine’s defenses for a conflict with Russia.

Meeting with the Ukrainian leader on the sidelines of the G7 summit of world leaders in Hiroshima, Japan, Biden said the military aid package included ammunition, artillery, armored vehicles and training.

“Together with the entire G7, we have Ukraine’s back and I promise we’re not going anywhere,” Biden told Zelenskiy.
