Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde assured that Peter Joemel Advincula alyas “Bikoy” is now in stable condition after being rushed to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Hospital.
Albyalde said “Bikoy” felt chest pains and his blood pressure shoots up to 130/90, which is higher than the normal level for his age.
Advincula is facing charges for large-scale illegal recruitment and estafa. Albayalde confirmed that Advincula already posted P18,000 worth of bail for his large-scale estafa.
Bikoy is currently in a detention facility since yesterday after he surrendered to the authorities. He also held a press conference in Camp Crame wherein he tagged the Liberal Party (LP) as the group behind his initial claims.
However, Vice President Leni Robredo, Sen. Trillanes and LP already denied his accusations.
But Albayalde insisted that they can no longer hold Advincula the moment he posts his bail. “He’s a free man. We no longer have reason to hold him. If there’s a court order to release him, then we will release him,†he added. (with reports from Bombo Dennis Jamito)
