BRP 41ST CMMA

The winning continues for Bombo Radyo and Star FM stations after they bagged major awards in the prestigious 41st Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) held Wednesday at GSIS Building, Pasay City.

Star FM Manila received a special citation for its “Mother’s Day” special while Star FM Davao won the Best News Feature award for “Jueves Santo.”

CMMA also awarded Bombo Radyo Iloilo’s “Bombo Lifestyle” as the Best Educational Program.

The Best Drama Program was awarded to “Genesis” from Star FM Manila.

Aside from this, 15 more entries from Bombo Radyo and Star FM programs were also part of the finalists.

Established in 1978 by the late Jaime Cardinal Sin and organized by the Archdiocese of Manila, CMMA and the Catholic church pay tribute to a variety of works and roster of media practitioners, both students, and professionals, who and which have been advocates of promoting Christian values in the most prestigious way.
