Bombo Radyo and Star FM dominated the 27th KBP Golden Dove Awards on Tuesday at Star Theatre, Star City Complex, Pasay City.
The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) is a broadcast media organization in the country which provides its members broadcasting standards and which hundreds of radio and television entities have abide by since its inception on April 27, 1973.
KBP held its 27th Golden Dove Awards, with this year’s theme “Soaring High As We Bring the Significance of the Craft of TV and Broadcasting.”
Bombo Radyo Cagayan De Oro‘s “Basura” has conferred as the Best Newscast Program for Provincial – News and Views Morning Edition.
Bombo Radyo Iloilo received the Best Public Service Program Award for Bombo Lifestyle, while the Best Documentary Program award was given to Star FM Manila for their Mother’s Day documentary.
At least 58 Golden Dove Awards were given by KBP for their 27th year of recognizing outstanding performances of media programs, personalities, public service announcements and promotional materials from Metro Manila and the provinces both for radio and television industry.
