CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Some members of Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) took exception to the complaint for their supposed incompetence to govern Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
This was after they considered the said issue as a challenge for they started in the armed revolution against the government.
BTA Basic and Technical Education Minister Mohagher Iqbal stressed that it is not their duty to appease those who oppose them but to give service to their countrymen in the Bangsamoro region.
Iqbal told Bombo Radyo that they should be given a chance to prove their worth and abilities with the help of the experts before being judged.
Furthermore, he also voiced out his disappointment towards some members of the media who continuously criticizes them but were unable to see the bigger picture of what are the problems pestering the Bangsamoro region.
Iqbal admitted that he has high respect in Bombo Radyo Philippines for being fair in discussing ordinary or sensitive issues that centers on the topics of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and other controversies in Mindanao, especially in BARMM.
