K-pop mega-group BTS has continued to hold the Guinness World Record (GWR) for being the male act with the most streams on the popular streaming service Spotify.

In a recent study, the Guinness World Record stated that as of March 3, BTS’ music had been streamed “a whopping 31,960,000,000 times,” which is nearly twice as many as when the seven-piece band previously broke the record in April 2021 with 16.3 billion streams.

The 2020 hit single “Dynamite,” which amassed 1.6 billion streams, is BTS’ most streamed song on the platform. With 1.08 billion streams and 1.01 billion streams, respectively, “Butter” and “Boy With Love” come next.

BTS just increased its record for having the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards blimps outside of streaming, according to Guinness, noting that the act now possesses seven prizes from the event.

BTS, who made their debut in 2013, is regarded as South Korea’s largest cultural phenomenon to date. The band has sold out stadiums all over the world, dominated the charts, made billions of dollars, and amassed a huge fan base.

The band made the decision to take a break from group activities last year so that its members could concentrate on their solo music, which would also overlap with their required military service.
