The Bureau of Immigration (BI) heightened security watch on airport operations by implementing internal movement and cooperating with different government agencies.
BI Commissioner Jaime Morente ordered to transfer the Travel Control and Enforcement Unit (TCEU) under his supervision.
TCEU is in-charge of passenger inspections in different international airports. They also make sure to block all possible victims of human trafficking and illegal recruitment.
Morente said that personnel from TCEU will do their best to do their job.
He also added that they are now cooperating with other travel hub agencies to secure sanitized airport immigration area.
