Pound-for-pound king and the current face of boxing Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will not settle yet.

Despite reaching the pinnacle of boxing, the 30-year old Mexican still eyes for more, and he knows he is still in his prime.

What’s evident is his plan to unify all the middleweight belts with his name on them.

He only needs two consecutive wins to make it a reality.

Canelo is about the face of the super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders after the initial postponement of their fight.

When he successfully steals Saunders’ belt, he made it known that he wants Caleb Plant next.

The plant holds the IBF title and has defended it three times while Saunders has the WBO belt.

“I want to unify the 168lb division, and Caleb Plant would be next in line to secure that short-term goal if successful against Billy Joe Saunders,” Alvarez said.

He also believes he can do it on a straightforward basis, without taking alternative routes and opponents. In short, Alvarez wants all the smoke in the middleweight division.

This feat will cement his storied legacy in boxing, especially in the middleweight division.

Alvarez currently has 55 wins, two draws, and only one defeat from the unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr.
