CEBU CITY – “I feel I’m on cloud nine right now.”

This is how Marcley Augustus Natu-el expressed his feelings after placing second in the 2018 Bar Examination result announced yesterday.

In an exclusive interview of Bombo Radyo Cebu, Natu-el said he was overwhelmed after garnering 87.53 percent rating in the bar exams which more than 8,000 hopefuls took last November 2018.

Natu-el added that he fervently prayed to pass the exam but never expected to be on the top list.

The 2nd placer from University of San Carlos expressed gratitude to his parents who were his ultimate inspiration.

After passing the bar, Natu-el admitted that he is yet to plan where to start his legal profession.

Other USC graduates who also made it to the top 10 were Mark Lawrence Badayos, 85.84 percent, third place; Jebb Lynus Cane, 84.80 percent, 9th place; and Alen Joel Pita, 84.69 percent, 10th spot.

The University of San Carlos is a private Catholic research university in Cebu City, Philippines run by the Society of the Divine Word missionaries since 1935.
