Shortly after takeoff at Cauayan Domestic Airport in the province of Isabela, a six-seater Cessna 206 aircraft went missing.

According to reports, an airplane with the tail number RPC 1174 took off from Cauayan City airport in Isabela at around 2:16 p.m. local time (06:16 GMT) and was headed for the seaside town of Maconacon.

Local Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) officials said six persons, including the pilot, were aboard the missing aircraft.


The CAAP’s area manager in Tuguegarao province, Mary Sullen Sagorsor, claimed that despite officials conducting an aerial search, no wreckage was discovered.
