Pinasaringan ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile ang mga indibidwal na lumabag sa batas pero sila ngayon ang humihingi ng hustisya.
Sa kaniyang social media post, sinabi ni Enrile na dahil sa kanilang pagiging desperado ay nagsasagawa na sila ng national prayer rallies para sa isang Diyos na minsan na nilang tinawag na “stupid.”
Sinabi ni Enrile, isinisisi nila sa halos lahat, maliban sa kanilang sarili, ang kanilang paghihirap na dahil din naman sa kanilang kayabangan at pagiging uhaw sa kapangyarihan.
Ngayon aniya ay kumakapit sila sa patalim para makahanap ng suporta at mailigtas ang kanilang sarili sa sitwasyong sila mismo ang lumikha.
“What a pathetic and ghastly irony! Those who allegedly committed unwarranted and violently acts of injustice are now drowning and gasping for justice. In their desperate distress, they grasp at straws for help and called for widespread national prayer rallies to a God they called “STUPID!!!” They blame nearly everyone else–except themselves–for their miseries which they themselves created because of their lust, arrogance, hubris, and hunger for power and pelf. They now claw for whatever support and sympathy and support they could muster to extricate themselves from a the tight legal trap that they themselves dug for themselves,” mensahe ni Enrile.
