WBA interim middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr., lashed out bold prediction and his desire to fight the current pound-for-pound king of boxing, Canelo Alvarez.
Eubank claimed he is the only boxer who can dethrone the four-division world champion Alvarez from the top of the mountain and a better option than the Mexican fighting WBO super-middleweight champ Billy Joe Saunders.
“I don’t think anyone on the planet would make a better opponent for him. Most guys are going in there to run and survive, I’m going in there to destroy,” said the 30-year old Eubank.
Aside from Alvarez, Eubank also called out Gennady Golovkin, mentioning the top two middleweight boxers as his targets.
Eubank has a record of 29 wins including 22 knockouts and two defeats while Alvarez has 53 wins, two draws and one loss.
