The members of Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) are preparing its K9 units that will help in securing the safety of all participants, athletes, and delegates for the upcoming 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
K9 contingents will be deployed in different venues where competitions will be held.
Some of the competition venues are Batangas, Subic, La Union, and Metro Manila. The game proper will start from November 30 to December 11, 2019.
Captain Nelson Torre, commander of PCG K9 Force, facilitated the send-off ceremony for all K9 contingents.
Another four members of PCG K9 teams will be part of the Sub-Task Group Protection technical Service that will conduct paneling and sanitation in the game venues.
PCG reassured the public that its personnel will keep their eyes on everyone’s security during the whole duration of SEA Games.
