Nagbabala si World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus na malayo pa bago tuluyang mawala ang coronavirus pandemic.
Sinabi nito na makikita sa kanilang talaan na tumataas ang mga kaso sa Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America at ilang bansa sa Asya.
Kaya aniya mataas ang nasabing kaso ay mababa ang testing capacity kaya tutulungan ng WHO ang mga ito.
Masusupil lamang daw ang virus kapag nagtutulungan ang mga bansa.
“To end the #COVID19 pandemic, the world needs: Unity and solidarity at the national and global levels, to ensure equal access to solutions & innovations, to strengthen preparedness & health systems in countries,” ani Dr. Tedros. “Since January 30, WHO has been calling on countries to prepare to find, test, treat and isolate every #COVID19 patient and trace all contacts. Some, but not all, countries have followed WHO advice.”
