ILOILO CITY – Hindi pa rin matukoy ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines ang dahilan ng power interruption sa buong Western Visayas, Setyembre 24.
Sa panayam ng Bombo Radyo Iloilo kay Michelle Visera, corporate communications officer at public affairs officer for Western Visayas ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, sinabi nito na mayroong system disturbance at naapektuhan ang power supply na nagresulta sa region-wide brownout.
Inihayag ni Visera na inaalam pa kung ang deperensya ay mula mismo sa mga planta o sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines na siyang namamahala sa transmission ng power supply.
Tiniyak nito na kaagad na maibabalik ang power supply sakaling maging stable na ang boltahe.
