Promal nang nanumpa si Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Alfredo Pascual kay Pangulong Ferdinad “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Ito ang inaanunsiyo mismo ng Office of the Press Secretary.
Sinabi ng OPS na kumpiyansa ang Pangulong Marcos sa patuloy ng pagganap ni Sec. Pascual ng kanyang tungkulin ng may buong puso para sa bayan.
Kung maalala, noong Martes ay sinuspindi ng Commission on Appointments (CA) committee ang deliberasyon sa ad interim appointment ni Pascual bilang kalihim ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) dahil sa kakulangan ng oras.
Una rito ilang business groups ay nagbigay ng kanilang suporta sa pag-endorso sa confirmation ni Pascual bilang DTI secretary.
Kabilang na rito ang Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), Philippine Exporters Confederation Inc. (PhilExport), Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), and Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc (FFCCCII).
Nagpahayag din ng kanilang suporta kay Pascual ang DTI-Employees Union and the Board of Investments Employees Association (BOIEA).
Nakatanggap din ng suporta si Pascual sa ilang business groups gaya ng Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), PCCI Catanduanes, Albay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Philippine Exporters Confederation (Region XI Chapter) Inc., at PhilExport Aklan Chapter Inc.
