Mas pinaaga ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang early registration sa mga mag-aaral para sa school year 2021-2022.
Ayon kay DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones, magsisimula na ito sa Marso 26 hanggang April 30, 2021, na mas maaga kumpara sa naunang anunsiyo.
Tanging mga incoming kindergarten, Grades 1, 7 at 11 sa public at secondary schools ang magpapa-preregister para mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang DepEd na makapaghanda.
Ang mga nasa Grade 2-6, 8-10 at 12 students ay pre-registered na at hindi na kailangan na makibahagi sa early registration.
Ang pre-registration aniya ay optional naman sa mga pampribadong paaralan.
“In the context of the prevailing COVID-19 public health emergency, the conduct of early registration shall be done remotely in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). In-person registration through parents or guardians may be allowed in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) provided physical distancing and health and safety protocols are strictly observed,” ani Briones.
