Despite the heat, the Department of Education (DepEd) has no plan to move back to April and May the summer vacation of students, spokesperson Michael Poa said.
When asked about requests to change the school vacation back to April and May, Poa responded in a message “At the moment, there are no plans to revert,”
Poa added that school heads have the discretion to suspend in-person classes and immediate switch to Alternative Delivery Mode or Blended learning if the environment is not conductive to learning.
