The government’s campaign against illegal drugs will not falter even critics continue to assail the abuses it has brought upon.

Foreign Affairs Sec. Teodoro Locsin Jr. said this after operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized billions worth of smuggled shabu and cocaine recently.

In a Twitter post on March 27, Locsin called for “more all-out” police operations after PDEA confiscated 442 kilos of shabu amounting to P2.8 billion in separate operations in Muntinlupa and Manila cities.

The Departement of Foreign Affairs chief stressed that the government will “exterminate” the illegal drug trade in the country by any means until perpatrators stop its operations.

“They won’t stop so we cannot stop our policy: We will exterminate the drug trade by any means efficient to achieve that purpose. A whole of nation approach of throwing everything at it (e.g. more all-out police operations),” said Locsin.
