MANILA – Iniimbestigahan na ng Department of Health (DOH) ang kumakalat ngayon na video sa social media tungkol sa indibidwal na hindi wastong nakatanggap ng COVID-19 vaccine dose.

Sa isang statement, sinabi ng DOH na paglabag sa protocol ng COVID-19 vaccination ang eksena na nakuhanan ng video sa isang vaccination site.
Makikita kasi video na itinurok lang ng vaccinator ang karayom ng bakuna pero hindi itinulak ang hiringilya para pumasok ang dose sa braso ng indibidwal.
“This is a clear breach of vaccination protocol.”
“The Department is investigating this breach in the vaccination protocol in coordination with the LGU concerned, and reminds all vaccinators to take extra care and attention during inoculation.”

Nilinaw naman ng ahensya na naturukan pa rin ng COVID-19 vaccine ang kumuha ng video matapos ipakita sa vaccination team.
“The vaccination site was quick to address the mistake and she was successfully vaccinated after showing the video to the vaccination team.”
Nangako si Health Sec. Francisco Duque III na agad magpapatupad ng bagong protocol sa mga vaccinators para hindi na maulit ang insidente.
âSinisigurado po namin na ating iimbestigahan ang pangyayaring ito upang mapabuti ang ating national vaccination program. Sa pagdating ng mas maraming bakuna sa bansa, we will continue to improve our speed, scale, and quality of service,â ayon sa kalihim.
