“The Department of Health (DOH) clarifies that PIN is not a requirement to register for and receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” ayon sa press release ng kagawaran.
“In order to avoid delays and problems during the vaccination, we encourage our members to know and keep their PIN,” ani PhilHealth President/CEO Dante Gierran.
CONTEXT: The state-health insurer earlier said that PhilHealth PIN is a "requirement prior to receiving" the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Whether direct or indirect contributors, including dependents of contributors, indigent members, senior citizens, and persons with disability, are automatic members of PhilHealth.”
