The Department of Justice (DoJ) will form a special investigating team to investigate the killing of radio broadcaster Dindo Generoso who was shot dead on Thursday morning, November 7, in Dumaguete City.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra ordered the said task force to conduct a thorough investigation so as to avoid the same incident to happen again.

The secretary of the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS) will also issue an order for the said task group.

National Bureau of Investigation is expected to help with the investigation.

The 67-years old radio block timer was shot by a lone gunman in Hibbard Avenue, Barangay Piapi, Dumaguete City while he was driving to work.
