The Department of Justice (DoJ) on Friday started its preliminary investigation on sedition case charges against Vice President Leni Robredo and 37 other respondents in connection with the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos linking President Rodrigo Duterte and his family to illegal drugs.

The second-highest official didn’t show up but other respondents such as Atty. Chel Diokno, Atty. Erin Tañada, Atty. Neri Colmenares, Atty. Theodore Te, Atty. Florin Hilbay, Father Robert Reyes, Sen. Rene Saguisag, lawyer of Sen. Risa Hontiveros, and Robredo’s legal counsel Atty. Marlon Manuel was also present. attended the said hearing.

Peter Joemel “Bikoy” Advincula, who identified himself as the hooded figure behind the Narco-list viral videos, was also present together with Atty. Larry Gadon.

The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) were given five days to provide additional evidence to support the allegations of Bikoy.
