Isa na namang doktor ang nagbuwis ng kanyang buhay habang nakikipaglaban sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Kinilala itong si Dr. Mary Grace Lim ng Asian Hospital and Medical Center sa lungsod ng Muntinlupa.
“Sorrow befalls upon our hospital as we have lost one of our own in the fight against this pandemic,” saad sa pahayag ng ospital.
“We have lost a remarkable doctor, a good friend, and mentor to our budding health care workers,” dagdag nito.
“We promise her and our countrymen, now more than ever, that we will remain unfazed and will keep on fighting to finally put an end to this pandemic.”
Si Lim ay naka-assign sa Department of Emergency Medicine at sa Quality Management Department.
Una rito, sinabi ng Philippine Medical Association na mahigit na sa 10 doktor ang namatay dahil sa COVID-19.
