The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Toll Regulatory Board have given permission to the management of NLEX to charge an additional toll fee starting tomorrow.
The new fee is for motorists using the Northern Luzon expressway – Southern Luzon Expressway Connector Project from Caloocan to Espana, Manila.
According to the DOTR, motorists have been able to use the said road for free for a long time, since it was first opened on March-29 and until now no fees have been charged from using it.
Based on the approved fee, starting tomorrow vehicles in the Class1 category will be charged up to P86.
P215 for those under Class 2 while P302 for those in Class 3.
Meanwhile, the rest of the said road will be opened in the last quarter of the current year.
