Nakapagbigay na ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), local government units, at pribadong sektor ng hindi bababa sa P20-million na halaga ng pagkain at non-food items bilang resource augmentation sa mga lugar na apektado ng oil spill sa Oriental Mindoro.
Batay sa ulat ng DSWD, P20-million na halaga ng humanitarian assistance, P18.4 milyon mula sa deparatamento, P321,215 mula sa local government units, P464,940 mula sa non-government organizations, at P755,780 mula sa iba pang Department of Social Welfare and Development partners.
Nag-extend din ang ahensya ng 21,000 family food packs sa Oriental Mindoro at 6,600 food packs sa Antique.
Dagdag dito, naapektuhan ng oil spill ang 31,392 pamilya o 141,988 indibidwal mula sa 122 barangay sa Mimaropa at Western Visayas.
Bukod dito, tiniyak ng Department of Social Welfare and Development na mayroong mahigit P2-billion na halaga ng standby funds at stockpile resources na madaling magagamit.
Mayroon din itong 95,549 family food packs na makukuha sa disaster response centers nito, 29,602 packs sa National Resource Operations Center sa Pasay City, at 65,947 packs sa Visayas Disaster Resource Center sa Mandaue City.
Mayroon din itong 104,080 packs na makukuha sa DSWD field offices sa Mimaropa at Western Visayas.
