Kevin Durant is nothing but honored to move up in the 25th place for all-time list in NBA scoring after he dropped 21 points in their win against the Boston Celtics.
The historic night marked the Brooklyn Nets forward, surpassing his idol Allen Iverson who formerly sat at the 25th.
“Iverson, he was in the Pantheon for me. One of those guys I emulated every time I went outside,” he said at the post-game interview.
“To pass him on the list, to end up there with some of the greats on that list is incredible.”
Among the 11 active players in the 75 Greatest NBA Players, Durant has been on target to start the #NBA75.
He is shooting at an incredibly high percentage, making his Nets team a more championship favorite than ever.
He is also in a toe-to-toe battle with Stephen Curry for the early MVP ladder.
