Bigong makadalo si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa campaign rally ng PDP-Laban sa lungsod ng Marawi nitong Biyernes.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo, ang masungit na lagay ng panahon ang rason kaya hindi nakalipad ang Pangulong Duterte patungo sa Mindanao State University main campus na siyang pinagdausan ng event.
“Not good weather for the flight to Marawi, so he cancelled it, [and] opted to rest,†saad ni Panelo.
Sa hiwalay na pahayag, sinabi ni PDP-Laban spokesperson Ronwald Munsayac na hindi raw binigyan ng clearance ang helicopter ni Pangulong Duterte na makaalis sa lungsod ng Davao.
“Our party chairman President Mayor Rody Duterte wasn’t able to attend the scheduled PDP-Laban campaign rally in Marawi City today due to bad weather. President Duterte’s helicopter wasn’t given clearance to take off from Davao City,†saad nito sa isang pahayag.
Susubukan naman aniya ng partido na mag-schedule uli ng hiwalay na campaign rally sa Lanao del Sur.
“We can still consider the Marawi City rally a successful one since most of the party’s senatoriables were able to personally meet and deliver their messages to our partymates, leaders, and supporters in Marawi City,†ani Munsayac.
