Umaasa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magiging “exercice of integrity” ang midterm elections sa darating na Mayo.
“I trust that this season of Easter will be a blessed time for us to rekindle our shared commitment in nation-building, especially in the upcoming midterm elections,†saad ni Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang Easter message.
“May it become an exercise of integrity and reflect the true will of the people. It is my hope that the evil caused by the societal ills we are confronting today will be swept away by our strong faith in the Almighty,†dagdag pa nito.
Kasabay nito ay nanawagan ang pangulo sa publiko na piliin ang ““good and uplifting†upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan.
“Let us strive to be instruments of peace in our families and communities and foster greater harmony and understanding wherever and whenever it is most needed,†saad ni Pangulong Duterte.
