“I conceptualized it a month after the pandemic started. Why not utilize the time to create something that would be relatable to people? Lahat naman tayo nakaka-experience ng pandemic eh. It chronicles the lives of different people. I did a virtual collaboration with different artists, videographers and actors across the Philippines. ‘Bintana’ became really successful that it got a screening in Taiwan. The follow up (Open Doors), I shot it worldwide. I decided to ask my friends abroad if they are willing to do the project and they agreed. It’s about different stories of young people based on their experience, their realizations and what are they doing now that the world is slowly opening after the worldwide lockdown.”

“We are now heading towards discovering the vaccine for the COVID-19 virus. I decided to make a story about the world after the vaccine is discovered. Parang journey siya from the worldwide lockdown to the easing of the quarantine and after.”

Noong nakaraang taon ay natanggap ng 28-year-old Filipino filmmaker ang JCS Young Creatives Award mula sa International Emmy’s para sa kanyang 1-minute video na “Next To Me”.
