Inianunsyo ngayon ng Malacañang ang pagtatalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay dating Secretary to the Cabinet Leoncio Badilla-Evasco bilang Presidential Adviser on Streamlining of Government Processes.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, pinirmahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang appointment paper ni Evaco noong Nobyembre 24, 2020.
Ayon kay Sec. Roque, hindi na bago si Evasco sa Duterte administration dahil nagsilbi na itong Cabinet Secretary sa unang bahagi ng kasalukuyang administrasyon.
Ang kaalaman umano ni Evasco sa burukrasya sa gobyerno ay malaking kontribusyon sa kanyang bagong trabaho para bawasan ang mga government processes sa Ehekutibo.
“PA Evasco is not new in the Duterte Administration having served as Cabinet Secretary in the early years of the current administration. His familiarity with the present bureaucracy would contribute greatly in his new task of streamlining government processes in the Executive,” ani Sec. Roque.
